This one gets started off with an LOL... Let me first say that the 2nd image from the bottom was completely my idea. I grew up a big fan of the WWE(WWF as I still call it) and "Triple H" always did this spitting/mist thing, that I thought was pretty cool. Without too much gross detail lets just say it didn't quite work as I had it in my head and after almost drowning on dry land (literally) we were able to catch that image.
This was definitely fun... Its always interesting to see people passing by with the "What are you doing?" look on their face like. For the record people don't pay for the mundane but the creative and this was one of my more interesting attempts at being creative. This was one of my 1st shoots (the 2nd I think) and I must thank Ms. Tomlin for being such a great subject. She is a very patient individual!
My goal every time I do a shoot is to incorporate something that the subject(s) loves or loves to do, in it. In this case, she loves to exercise! After a quick review on my LCD I came to the conclusion that some of these could easily fit on a magazine page as a Nike add (IMHO). Of course she would have to be wearing Nike apparel.
P.S. Did mention that she's very strong... Let me find it. I have a picture of her doing a hand stand someplace.
Here it is. I had to add the second one because I'm sure somebody viewing this would let the thought slip that somebody was holding her legs, out of the frame, in the first picture.

The Serenade

Fun, energetic, love, patient and the list goes on and on and on. I don't think there is any quote or saying I can come up with that would accurately summarize these two.  The vibe they carry when together is amazing. I've known Gary for a little while now and like all men (gents keep it real) when in truly in love, cannot stop smiling when Toya is around. He gets all giddy giddy. When Toya is around immediately everything else ceases to exist. You have no idea how hard it was to get this brotha to stop cheesing (smiling) for some of these pictures.  They feed off of each other. Gary and Toya, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to do these engagement pictures. As promised I kept the more intimate images strictly for you guys. :)
For the record, Toya serenading him was Gary's idea....
